My boys LOVE to be outside but sometimes it’s just too hot to be running around in the sun! The other day we made these fun sailboats and put them in some big bowls filled with water and the kids got to splash around with them while Momma sat in the shade! 🙂 These sail boats were made with a pool noodle, tooth picks and scrapbooking paper so it’s super inexpensive–and isn’t that normally what the kids play with more ha! I swear, you give my kids a big cardboard box and they will be busy for hours!!
Cut your sailboats as thick as you want out of your pool noodle. Cut out a triangle flag and attach to the top of a toothpick. Insert toothpick in your pool noodle and watch the kids play!
I was part of a super fun Summer Fun Series! Make sure you check out these other great summer projects!
