Girl’s Night: Luau Style

Girls night is extra fun when you are getting together Luau style!  These Luau party ideas are so fun to celebrate summer with your closet friends!

A month ago I had a bunch of my girlfriends over for a much needed girls night out…Luau Style! It was such a fun way to celebrate great friendship.  All the girls brought a side dish while I prepared the main course—BBQ Pulled Pork!   Life seems to be busy all.the.time…it doesn’t matter if school is in session or if the holidays are right around the corner.  I think it’s so important for women to be able to have a little “me” time with some of their closest friends.  It’s so easy to get lost in the everyday shuffle of all our mommy duties.  It’s nice to be able to sit back and relax even if just for a couple of hours. 

These ceramic pineapple tumblers served as both a fun way to sip on our punch and served as fun “favors” for all the girls to take home.  It was definitely their favorite part of the night 🙂 

These hibiscus flowers were such a fun way to add a pop of color to the table.  At less than $6 for all three flowers this was a really inexpensive way to add some fun.   We used paper plates for easy cleanup and topped the plates with some cute white starfishes.  They served as decor and a weight to keep the napkins and plates from blowing in the wind.

We used these fringed luau placemats to add a bit of texture to the table. 

This party was such a good time and with just a few simple decorations and good food it was a party/get together we will talk about for awhile!
