Honey Lime Turkey Breast Strips
The weather is finally warm enough for grilling season to officially arrive and these Honey Lime Turkey Breast Strips are simple and delicious! You can either cut up some turkey breast into strips yourself or head to your local grocery store and grab some Shady Brook Farms Ready to Season turkey breast strips. Depending on where you live you may need to check out their sister brand Honey Suckle White. I love these strips because all the work is already done for you! The turkey breast strips are cut into the perfect bite sized pieces that are ready to add your favorite seasoning or marinade. They cook quickly on either your skillet, oven or grill!
Tips for the Honey Lime Turkey Breast Strips Marinade:
- Decide on your favorite marinade ingredients. Marinades are great because you can swap ingredients in and out depending on what your family likes! This marinade has a base of lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and some other flavorful additions.
- Let the turkey strips marinate for at least 2 hours, but if you have the time overnight is even better!
- Remember to flip your bag around every few hours or so to make sure all the pieces are marinating.
In a small bowl you will want to mix together your marinade ingredients until incorporated. Add your turkey breast strips to a gallon size freezer bag and pour in marinade.
Using a slotted spoon or fork place your turkey breast strips on a heated grill or skillet and allow to cook for a few minutes on each side, about 3 minutes per side or until the internal temperature is 165 degrees. We served these honey and lime turkey breast strips with a side of white rice and a toss salad but these would be great on top of a salad or even in a taco!

Honey Lime Turkey Breast Strips
Ingredients
- 1 lb turkey breast strips
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- zest of one lime
- 1 TBSP light brown sugar
- 2 TBSP honey
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place turkey breast strips in a gallon sized freezer bag.
- In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients. Pour over turkey breast strips.
- Marinate for at least 2 hours. The longer the better.
- Discard marinade and place turkey breast strips on a heated skillet or grill. Cook about 3 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
