My little boys love their cookies. They like just about any kind but at times seem to favor chocolate – I mean who doesn’t right?! These holiday cake mix cookies are delicious, chocolatey and simple. When I was a little girl my mom would often make cake mix cookies out of a strawberry or lemon cake mix and we just loved them! I decided to use Pillsbury’s Traditional Chocolate Cake Mix as the base for these cookies. If you have ever made cake mix cookies you know that it only requires a few ingredients.
I decided to take these chocolate cake mix cookies up a notch by adding these fun festive red and green chocolate chips to the batter. I also added a few white chocolate chips for a fun twist of flavor.
