Trace and cut out your child’s handprint on brown cardstock. Paint the fingers of the handprint and just slightly above in your black and browns.

Cut a 1 inch by 4 inch long piece of colored paper and glue to the top of your handprint. Turn it around and trim with scissors. Cut out a bandana tie shape and glue it to the edge of the colored strip.

Using our pirate hat template, add a black hat to their heads. If you prefer to leave the hat off, decorate the bandana with dots or stripes.

Draw on patch strap and glue on a button and a googly eye. Add “angry” eyebrows and half smile.
