Inspiration Behind Grinch Punch

Every year, we watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas because it’s such a heart-warming classic. You may not think of the Grinch as a heart-warming character; however, the lesson learned in the movie is what makes the Grinch memorable! The Grinch sees all the happy Who’s in Whoville and wants to wreak havoc on their Christmas. He makes his way down to Whoville to steal all of their Christmas presents from underneath their tree. As he makes his way back to his cave, he hears singing coming from the center of Whoville. Once he realizes that the Who’s are still just as happy without any presents, he’s baffled. The Grinch realizes that Christmas really isn’t about presents at all! It’s about sharing joy with the ones you love that makes the season worth celebrating. He returns the gifts and his heart grows three sizes! What a wonderful message to send to your kids this holiday season!

Get Creative with Grinch Punch

You can cut a few sparkly hearts out of foam or cardstock and attach them to some red and white paper straws for staging! Depending on the rim of your glass, you can wrap some red and white baker’s twine around the base of the rim a few times as well. Another thing you could add is red crystal sprinkles to the rim of the glass for some added sweetness!

What If I Can’t Find Lime Sherbet?

All the stores around me don’t sell JUST lime sherbet anymore. However, if you find a gallon of Rainbow Sherbet, you can scoop out the green and use that!

What If My Kids Don’t Like Pineapple Juice?

I get it! Kids are picky. If they don’t like pineapple juice, apple juice would work great with this! The juice is purely to give the punch some added sweetness, so as long as you have some sweet juice, you’re good

How Do You Store Grinch Punch?
