Football Snack Bags: simple Superbowl party craft idea!
This post is brought to you by Tastefully Simple. All opinions are mine!
I don’t know about you but during the cold winter months it’s all about football. Actually, the love of sports last all year long with basketball and baseball season in my family but there is just something about football that brings friends and families together for a night of cheering and snacks. For many the Superbowl is the highlight of the Winter months, especially if “their” team is in the big game. My husband is a big Patriots fan so it was so fun to see him really get into the game last season. I on the other hand, like the commercials 🙂 and the food, we can’t forget the food! I whipped up these super fun and simple football snack bags to go with my version of Tastefully Simple’s Rustic Herb Parmesan Snack Mix Recipe.
These snack bags make great “bowls” for game watching and perfect favor bags for your guests to take home. You probably even have the few supplies you need to make them.
White construction paper
Brown Paper Bag
I decided I want my snack bags to be short so I cut off about 6 inches from the top of the brown paper bag.
I then cut out the “stitching” football pieces out of white construction paper and adhered them to the bag with craft glue. Don’t worry about being perfect! This would actually make a perfect craft for the littles to do during the game. My boys loved glueing their pieces down.
You could also print out or find a piece of scrapbooking paper that has numbers on it and add them to your bag if you wanted as well.
Lastly, just fill it with your snack mix and enjoy the game!
