I always say I could easily eat pizza once a week and the same goes for my kids.  Pizza is a family favorite and we love to try new flavors and combos.  Recently we tried out this chicken & spinach alfredo pizza and it was a hit.  The spinach adds a hidden veggie that even the kids don’t mind.  Our pizza started out with a delicious Bertolli ® Organic Creamy Alfredo Sauce which brought a delicious richness to the pizza and made bringing it to the table easy and fast.  Made with organic ingredients, like fresh cream, whole milk, real butter, and aged Parmesan and Romano cheeses, Bertolli® Organic Creamy Alfredo Sauce is a perfect pasta sauce to bring a hint of Tuscany to your table. 

This recipe uses simple ingredients that you may already have on hand. Top the delicious Bertolli® sauce with some cooked chicken and spinach leaves.  I liked to break up my spinach leaves into smaller bite sized pieces.  Try mixing Bertolli® Organic Tomato Based sauces with the creamy alfredo sauce for a mix of flavors.  You can mix the two sauces interchangeable to create different flavors.   When making pizza for my family I prefer to bake it on a baking stone. I set the baking stone in the oven as it is preheating so it gets nice and hot.  Once the oven preheats I like to add a coat of corn meal to the top of the stone. 

Quickly and carefully roll out your pizza dough onto the hot baking stone.  You will need to work quickly as your crust will start baking once you set it on the stone. 

Top the crust with about once cup of Bertolli® Alfredo sauce and finish off with your chicken, spinach and mozzarella cheese. 

Cook until your cheese is nice and bubbly and slightly golden.  This pizza is a twist on chicken alfredo pasta that I bet your family will really enjoy! The Tuscan Way of cooking is all about using a few quality ingredients, cooked with olive oil to lock in flavors.

Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Pizza

  • 1 pizza crust
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 1 cup Bertolli Organic Creamy Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese


  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. If using pizza stone, place in oven to preheat. Once preheated remove baking stone and sprinkle a small amount of corn meal on top. 
  • Top with Alfredo sauce, spinach, cooked chicken and lastly mozzarella cheese. 
  • Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
