Butterfinger Cookies: the perfect sweet snack to go along with a Halloween Trick or Treat basket.
I’ve partnered with NESTLE® PURE LIFE® to create this post! Enjoy!
Halloween is all about the costumes, candy, snacks, and treats. This Butterfinger cookie combines all the fun in one little soft and puffy package 🙂 What better way to use up some leftover Halloween candy than by putting it in a cookie right? 🙂 These cookies have a basic base but the Butterfinger candy pieces adds such a fun pop of flavor and crunch.

My little boys and I thought it would be fun to put together a few boo-baskets. Boo-baskets can be as big or as small you want them to be. They are a great alternative for friends, family members and even trick-or-treaters than just handing out a bag of candy. It’s fun to put a basket together for someone special and drop it off at their front door. We decided to grab a few non-candy items for our basket. While we don’t mind having candy, it’s all about moderation 🙂 We centered our boo-baskets around these fun NESTLE® PURE LIFE® “Share-A-Scare™” Halloween Bottles. They come in 4 different characters and are a mini size, which is great for kids. It’s important to keep your kids hydrated while they are busy having fun and these water bottles are just perfect to pass out around the neighborhood block.

We decided to add our homemade Butterfinger cookies to our boo-baskets. Who doesn’t love to receive a homemade cookie? And if you deliver right away they might even still be warm 🙂
All of our items fit into a fun Jack-O-Lantern bucket but you could package them anyway you want! We made sure to stuff tissue paper around our basket items so everything stayed in place. Using tissue paper also allows you to create different heights for your items. The kids will be able to see the stuff right away. We had such a fun time finding all the items for our boo-basket and my kids had fun picking what NESTLE® PURE LIFE® “Share-A-Scare™” Halloween Bottles their friends would get.
While my family and I don’t typically celebrate the spooky side of Halloween, we do love to get together. Our night consists of cookie decorating, pumpkin carving and games. What are some of your favorite Halloween traditions? Do you typically go out trick or treating or get together at home?
