I love the summery flavors of pineapple and coconut. This banana pina colada trifle is bursting with flavor and is delicious! Banana bread is used as the trifle base and adds a fun twist to this dish. I prepared Tastefully Simple’s Hearty Banana Bread Mix and the greek yogurt in the mix helps makes the bread perfectly moist. Once the banana bread was cool enough, I cut it into small 1/2 inch cubes.
I also used Tastefully Simple’s Pina Colada Layered Dip Mix and added it to a prepared vanilla pudding mix and 1/2 of an 8 ounce container of Whipped Topping. I layered the pudding mix on top of my banana bread pieces and layered some cubed pineapple on top.
This banana pina colada trifle would be perfect for a Mothers Day breakfast idea. Serve it on a tray with fresh eggs and orange juice and it will make any busy mother feel special.
