This Momma is a bundle of emotions lately. I thought it was hard sending my first son to K4 a couple years ago, but I’m having an equally as emotional time sending my second baby to K4 a few years later. These little guys have been buddies from the start and I am so glad they have the chance to go to our small Christian school that both my husband and I graduated from. Knowing they will get to see each other in the hallways and possibly on the playground makes this momma’s heart a little less emotional. They really do love to do everything together. It will be fun to watch my second son make new friends and spread his wings a little bit.
Last week we jumped in the mini van and had our big Back to School Shopping trip. Our first stop was Boscovs and we were able to find so many nice shirts and dress pants for the boys. We left the store feeling well prepared for the school year.
I have a habit of buying the boys matching shirts but this shopping trip the boys were able to pick out their own favorite shirts. They had fun picking out their favorite colors and patterns.
…..of course I couldn’t resist and had to buy them matching ties 🙂 I mean…. how cute!
Along with fun patterns and colors, we made sure we bought some neutral shirts for special programs and events throughout the year. You really can never have too many white shirts with boys right? Of course you can’t forget the everyday basics like socks, undershirts and underwear right?
My boys have mixed emotions about going to school. They are excited and also sad that all the summer fun is ending but with new clothes and school supplies they are ready to have a great year!
