Baby Chick Fruit Cup: a fun spring idea for the kids to take in there lunch boxes or enjoy at home
This little baby chick fruit cup is a perfect craft for the little ones to make! They can take a bunch of these baby chicks to their classmates or you can even put them in an Easter basket for your kiddos. The supplies are minimal and you can finish a bunch of them in 30 minutes. Doing fun crafts FOR your kids and WITH your kids doesn’t have to involve huge messes and lots of steps. Sometimes the simpler the project the better. My oldest is almost 5 and I also have a 3 year old son and a 3 month old daughter so time is of the essence for me right now 🙂
SUPPLIES:
Peach or Mandarin Orange Fruit Cups
Orange Sharpie Marker
Black Sharpie Marker
Orange felt, cut into (2) “L” shapes for the legs and (2) heart shapes for the wings
Mini googly eyes
Craft Glue
DIRECTIONS:
PARENTS: If your fruit cup has the time stamp on the top of the cup just use some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to remove it.
Start of by drawing on the baby chicks beak and tuft of hair, which is totally optional. 🙂 Then you will simply glue on the rest of your pieces. See…how easy was that!?
I even made a fun little video for your viewing pleasure! 🙂 Now….go gather the supplies, wrangle up your kiddos and have some simple fun!
