Wood Slice Ornaments: the perfect 30 minutes gift idea that your loved ones will enjoy year after year.

DIY WOOD SLICE ORNAMENTS

Every year I set up a smaller Christmas tree in the living room that the kids get to decorate with all of their homemade ornaments, school ornaments, and special ornaments we have collected and made over the years. Looking back over the ornaments made and given to us is a fun Christmas activity. These Wood Slice ornaments are a fun activity to make with your kids and something you can keep for years to come. Don’t forget to write their name and age on the back! It’s so easy to forget as the years go by.

I also love to give homemade ornaments as gifts.  They are fun, quick, and who doesn’t love something homemade.  These little wood slice ornaments can also work as gift tags, which is a fun way to add a personalized touch when wrapping. We decided to make a couple of different versions.  We made a Santa, Snowman, Penguin and an Elf.  I personally love the snowman and Santa!  All of them were very simple and only required a few steps and supplies!
