THANKSGIVING PUNCH

What’s a holiday party or a gathering with friends without a delicious punch?  My girlfriends and I try to get together at least once a month, many times twice a month, and more often than not we have some type of a punch beverage at our gatherings.  This Thanksgiving Punch is not only easy to put together but serves a crowd so it’s perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas Party or just a night playing games with friends.

THANKSGIVING PUNCH NON ALCOHOLIC

This punch is great for both adults and kids, if they like soda. We do not add alcohol to any of beverages but if you want to feel free.  The ingredients needed are simple and easy to find to make this Thanksgiving day punch.

  • Apple Cider, we prefer to use the unpasteurized stuff you can find at your local Farm stands but store bought works just fine as well!
  • Cranberry Cocktail Juice
  • Orange Juice, no pulp
  • Cinnamon sticks, we use 2 but if you like less cinnamon just use one stick
  • Ginger Ale Soda, 1 liter
  • Cranberries, Orange slices, apple slices – as garnish if desired.

How much Punch do I need for my Party?

I have found that most guests tend to have 2-3 servings (6 ounces per serving) of punch. This may be more or less depending on if other beverages are being served and if your glasses are smaller or larger. This is just a good starting point. This punch recipe makes about 100 ounces of beverage and is usually a perfect amount for 8-10 guests. Feel free to double or triple the liquid portion of this recipe. You should only need to add more garnishes if people are actually eating them.

My family of 30 absolutely loved this punch! I should’ve made two containers of it! It was the littles that couldn’t get enough mostly. I love the notes of cranberry and orange in it, a wonderful variety if flavor! Consider it my annual punch now!

I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m planning on making it for Thanksgiving. We’re having about 25 people; how many does this serve? Will I need to double? Thanks!

    1. Great to hear! I would double the recipe, especially if no other beverages will be served. I have found this recipe,as is, serves 8-10 people perfectly.

I discovered at Thanksgiving that all 22 of my family members love this — 10 adults, 12 kids and teens. I brought apple vodka separately for the adults to spike their own which was a huge hit. Now I need to quadruple it for Christmas!

Made this today for outr Thanksgiving day meal. It’s perfect! It embodies everything I love about the season.

For sure will be making this every year from now on.

Might even splash a little amaretto in it for an amazing adult beverage.

Thanks so much for adding to our very tradition centered feast.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
