Strawberry Cake Mix Brownies: a fun and simple treat idea by using a cake mix. These strawberry brownies are bursting with color and only requires 5 simple ingredients
These strawberry cake mix brownies are so simple and fun for the kids. What little kids don’t like food that is bursting with color. Well, at least my kids do! Sometimes when my kids want a little treat I only have a few minutes to prepare something and the classic chocolate brownies are usually my go to. I decided to mix up a different flavor and the kids really liked them. You only need a Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix, eggs, vegetable oil, white chocolate chips and sprinkles 🙂
- Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, separated and optional
- 3 Tbsp. sprinkles, separated and optional
- Mix together cake mix, eggs and vegetable oil. Add 1/4 cup white chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of sprinkles to the batter. Spread into a greased 9 in. x 13 in. baking pan. The batter will be thick but easily moved with a spatula. Top with remaining white chocolate chips and sprinkles. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
If sprinkles and white chocolate chips aren’t your thing you can definitely leave them out and just enjoy the strawberry brownie by itself. You could also add a small amount of chocolate chips for a strawberry and chocolate flavor. No matter what you do you can have them ready to eat in less than 30 minutes!
