{Cars} Toy Storage Container

Don't forget to enter in the
{My Memories Digital Scrapbook Giveaway} found HERE!!!

"Cars" seems to be one of the newest most popular boy movies.  The cars characters are EVERYWHERE!  Bedding, posters, school folders...etc.  I just think its the cutest thing for boys!  I had an empty gallon ice cream container laying around that I wanted to do something with.  It was the perfect box shape to make a car.  Now Jacob has a little personalized ( it has a "J" monogram on the lid) storage container to hold his toys when we go on vacation, or visit family members. The fact that it has a handle, makes it easy for him to carry around.  He LOVES it!

Materials:
Ice cream container
Scrapbook/Construction paper
Modge podge
Felt

I honestly have NO picture directions.
It was as simple as cutting out your needed shapes and modge podging them to your container.

Happy Crafting!!

Fabric Flower Hair Clip

Don't forget to enter in the
{My Memories Digital Scrapbook Giveaway} found HERE!!!

What girl doesn't love accessories?!  I decided the other day I needed some fun things to put in my hair during the summer.  I made my sister some headbands a few months ago check them out {HERE}and I have been wanting to make some things for myself too!  While the little man was sleeping I made these three. All three probably took 1/2 an hour.  LOVE quick projects! These hair clips are super easy to make and pretty inexpensive too!

I started off with some JUMBO hair clips. This allowed me to make bigger flowers.

For the black and white flowers I used two Yo Yo's.
Don't know how to make Yo Yo's?  Keep Reading...

I cut out two circles. One big, one small.

Either handstitch or machine sew a basting stitch around your circle.

Pull your thread until pulled tight.  It should look like this when finished. Do this to both circles.

Cut out a small piece of felt and hot glue your bottom yo yo to it.
Glue your top yo yo on and any embellishments.

Here is how to attach your flower to you hair clip:

Decide where you want your flower to be on your clip.
Cut a small piece of felt and hot glue around your clip to hold in place.

The pink flower I made exactly like this one{HERE} only with fabric instead of felt.

The blue flower is just lace that I kept hot glueing around in a circle and I added some pearls.

Happy Crafting!!
