Next week I go back to work...driving a school van. I just can't believe that summer is nearly over. Don't summers seem to go faster and faster each year that passes. Our summer was FULL of exciting announcements and activities............

My sister got engaged to a wonderful guy...I can't wait to have a "new" brother. They are getting married THIS December. Yep, the December thats a month before my due date...YIKES!

My mom, sisters, Courtneys future sister in law, mother in law and I celebrated her engagement with a fun Princess Party fit for any bride. We had so much fun dancing and singing in our little escape....Yes we acted like little girls, but hey...every mom and busy woman needs to act a little crazy every once in a while.

Jacob went to the beach for the very first time...the waves scared him a little at first, but he LOVED the sand!

We froze 51 quarts of fresh sweet corn and lets just say Jacob LOVES biting into the juicy sweetness

Sisterly love...
This summer came to an end way too fast! There was lots of laughter, giggles and silliness and even some tears on my part...my sister getting married and moving states away is just something I have a hard time handling...now throw in some pregnancy hormones and you know it's going to be a disaster...I am super excited she is getting married. She will have such a wonderful life with her very own Prince Charming.
The fall is just about as busy as the summer. Cheering my sisters and brother on during their soccer games, a bridal shower, finding out the gender ( about 2 weeks!) of this little munchkin thats now
giving me gentle (for now) reminders that he/she is growing nice and big, wishing my sister the best SENIOR year possible...and just incase you were wondering OF COURSE I love my brother, but he decided to leave us for the summer and work for a Christian camp that was about an hour away. ( He had a GREAT time) hence the reason he isn't in any pictures! :)
