The {Homemade by You} link party is still going on......If you want to link up some of your projects CLICK HERE
Let's go back to our preschool/kindergarten age. Remember how we would proudly get out our box of crayons, new scissors ( that our moms wouldn't let us use---but now since we are in school we can) and our stick of glue! Well, this project is really THAT simple!
My son is turning ONE in just a few weeks and he LOVES Elmo! It seems like most kids his age do :) We decided to do a Elmo & Train theme party. Jacob has 3 little buddies coming to his party. I know, I know--his parties will get much bigger when he starts to go to school, but for now, while his parties are small I decided to do little goodie bags for the kiddos. ( I'll have a tutorial for what I am going to put inside the bags in a few more days ) These three bags took me less than 20 minutes and cost less than $1 a bag!
Materials:
Red paper bag
( you can find these at ANY craft store...I actually found mine at a party store
---they were like .50 cents a bag)
Small piece of black, orange/yellow and white construction paper
Glue Stick
Ready for the O' so difficult instructions......
Cut out TWO white eyes, ONE orange nose, TWO black pupils & ONE black mouth
Glue to your bag! {Wipes the brow} that was a toughy!
( If you have kids that are a little bit older than ONE, this would be a perfect craft for them to do for their own party---you can make some of the other sesame street characters or maybe even make funny looking eyes and teeth for a monster party?! The bags come in all sorts of colors! Have FUN!
HAPPY CRAFTING!
